1″ Standard Male Valve
The 1″ Standard Male Valve is APU Packaging’s established continuous-spray valve for a wide range of aerosol products. Pressing the actuator opens the valve for continuous dispensing, while releasing it allows the valve to reseal. The mounting cup, stem and housing configuration can be selected according to the formulation, actuator, can and required discharge characteristics.
360° Aerosol Valve
The 360° Aerosol Valve is developed for products that need to dispense reliably when the container is held upright, sideways or inverted. An internal stainless-steel ball device supports product pickup across different orientations. Built on an established continuous-spray valve platform, it can be configured according to the formulation, actuator, can and desired spray characteristics.
Metering Aerosol Valve
The Metering Aerosol Valve delivers a defined quantity of product with each actuation instead of providing continuous discharge. It is suited to applications where dosage control, repeatability and consistent product delivery are important. Seven dose volumes are available, allowing the valve to be selected according to the product, application and intended user experience.
Powder Aerosol Valve
The Powder Aerosol Valve is developed specifically for aerosol products containing dry powders. Its wider stem-orifice configuration supports powder transfer through the valve and helps reduce the possibility of obstruction during dispensing. The valve uses an established aerosol mounting-cup and housing platform, making it suitable for integration with conventional aerosol packs and production processes.
Female Aerosol Valve
The Female Aerosol Valve is designed for dispensing systems in which the actuator connects directly with the valve body instead of fitting over a projecting male stem. This construction supports specialised actuators, spray caps and higher-flow dispensing systems. Two tailpiece-orifice options are available to accommodate different output requirements.
Mousse Aerosol Valve
The Mousse Aerosol Valve is developed for products that need to dispense as foam or mousse rather than as a conventional spray. Its internal stem and housing geometry supports the product flow and mixing required to create the intended mousse output. The valve is suitable for compatible instant-foam and post-foaming formulations across personal-care applications.
Tilt Aerosol Valve
The Tilt Aerosol Valve opens when the actuator or dispensing attachment is pushed sideways rather than pressed vertically. This side-actuated format is suitable for products using spouts, extension tubes and directed nozzles. Its defined stem and housing flow path supports controlled on-and-off dispensing for products that need to be applied to a specific area.
Fire Extinguisher Aerosol Valve
The Fire Extinguisher Aerosol Valve is configured for the rapid, high-volume discharge required by portable aerosol fire-extinguisher products. It is suitable for compatible water-based and powder-based extinguishing agents and can be supplied with tinplate or aluminium mounting cups according to the container and pack configuration.
Lighter Gas Refill Valve
The Lighter Gas Refill Valve is designed for pressurised butane refill cans used with compatible lighters and gas-powered appliances. Its construction supports controlled gas transfer through the intended refill interface. Metal and acetal stem options are available, allowing the valve to be matched to different appliance connections and pack requirements.
Pump Valve
The Pump Valve provides mechanical dispensing for non-pressurised packs with an aerosol-style presentation. Instead of using propellant or internal can pressure, the pump mechanism moves a controlled quantity of product with each actuation. The valve delivers approximately 120 microlitres per stroke and is suitable for products that require propellant-free dispensing in a familiar pack format.

APU aerosol valves control the release of product from the can each time the actuator is pressed. The range is built around two 1″ standard formats — a male valve (protruding stem) and a female valve (actuator-fed) — with a family of special valves for any-angle, metered, powder, mousse, tilt, lighter-refill, fire-extinguisher and non-pressurised pump use.
A separate Bag-on-Valve (BOV) range keeps product fully separated from the propellant for clean, any-angle, propellant-free dispensing. Every valve is offered in tinplate or aluminium with a choice of lacquers and gasket compounds matched to the formula, and follows CSMA reference dimensions for standard cans and filling lines.
